IHSS (In Home Support Services)

In-Home Support Services (IHSS) lets you direct and manage the attendants who provide your personal care, homemaker and health maintenance services, with the added support of an agency. Through IHSS, you are empowered to select, train and manage attendants of your choice to best fit your unique needs or you may delegate these responsibilities to an authorized representative.

Pay rates

$20 per hour for Personal Care and Homemaker
$22 for Health Maintenance

Agency-Based Community First Choice (CFC)

Agency-Based CFC provides support with personal care and homemaker services for individuals approved for these Medicaid benefits. If you do not have Health Maintenance Activities (HMA) approved, this option is often the simplest way to receive services because the agency manages scheduling, documentation, and payroll. Individuals still have full input on who provides their care and when services occur—similar to IHSS—while Harmonie House handles the administrative requirements.
