About Harmonie House

Our Story

Harmonie House was not just founded by Jennifer and Paul Pieroni, it was born from their deeply personal journey and a vision to bridge the service gap for individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities (IDD) in Colorado.

Navigating the challenges of raising two beautiful children with autism, the Pieroni’s discovered a stark disparity in support services upon moving from the Denver Metro Area to Northwest Colorado. This realization sparked their determination to ensure equitable access to crucial services for all families.

The couple founded Harmonie House to bring the comprehensive support they once had to their new community. The organization is committed to offering a suite of services funded exclusively by Medicaid, ensuring that no family is burdened with the financial cost of essential care.

With its innovative services like virtual therapies, parent CNA, waiver services, and peer coaching, Harmonie House is filling critical gaps in regional healthcare landscapes and transforming lives.

The Pieroni’s enduring goals are scaling impact, educating the community about available services, and fostering collaborations with local entities to enhance the quality of life for individuals with disabilities. They want everyone in their community to be accessible to shape their future, just as they envisioned for their children.

With a spirit rooted in family, community, and advocacy, Harmonie House is a beacon of hope and a legacy of empowerment and care.
